Position Overview:

We are seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role will involve managing a small caseload of adolescent clients and facilitating therapeutic groups. The therapist will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Care:
• Manage a caseload of at least one adolescent client, providing individual therapy sessions and ongoing assessment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each client's specific mental health needs and goals.
• Conduct regular therapy sessions with clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to address trauma, anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues.
• Group Therapy:
• Facilitate therapeutic groups (approximately 2-3 per week) that focus on skill-building, emotional regulation, social development, and other relevant topics.
• Create a safe, supportive, and structured environment during group sessions that fosters open communication and trust among group members.
• Collaboration and Documentation:
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, counselors, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, group activities, and client progress in accordance with clinical and legal standards.
• Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and supervision as needed.
• Crisis Management:
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, working with clients to de-escalate situations and ensure their safety and well-being.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Must be a licensed therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent) in CA.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working with adolescents in a therapeutic setting. Experience in group facilitation is highly preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong clinical skills in individual therapy, with a focus on adolescents and trauma-informed care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage teens and build rapport.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule:

• 20 hours per week with flexibility to meet client and group needs.
• Sessions may include both daytime and evening hours to accommodate clients' schedules.
