Job Summary:
Solution Based Therapeutics is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary team at our inpatient mental health facility. The PMHNP will be responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing medications, and providing supportive care to patients experiencing acute psychiatric conditions. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a structured, trauma-informed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitoring for efficacy and side effects.
Provide supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and crisis intervention as appropriate.
Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and case managers to ensure coordinated care.
Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and contribute to case discussions and discharge planning.
Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
Educate patients and families on mental health diagnoses, treatment plans, and wellness strategies.
Stay current on psychiatric best practices, research, and continuing education relevant to the PMHNP role.
Adhere to facility protocols and state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specialization as a PMHNP from an accredited program.
License & Certification: Current and unrestricted PMHNP license in the state of Michigan; certification through ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center).
Experience: Experience in inpatient psychiatric care preferred but not required.

Pay & Schedule:
Salary: $70 $75/hr (DOE)
Schedule: 8 16 hrs/week, fully on-site
