Job Description:
Foundation Foot and Ankle is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic Foot and Ankle team at Southern NH Health. In this position, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive Outpatient care to a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat various injuries and diseases related to the feet, ankles and lower legs
- Typical duties include wound care, assistance with post operative care, and other general podiatric services.
- May include providing surgical assistance (RNFA required)
- Rounding responsibilities within the hospital
- Manage desktop for refills and triage questions by the nursing team
- 36 patient contact hours/4 administrative hours per week
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Document patient encounters and progress notes accurately and thoroughly
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in nursing
- New Grads encouraged to apply
- Strong clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
