About the Job:
The electroencephalographic (EKG) Tech uses specialized equipment to locate brain abnormalities. Works under the supervision of a physician.
What Youll Do:
Evaluate patient to determine the appropriate approach to an EKG procedure.
Screen for contraindications to elements of EKG including hyperventilation, photic stimulation, or other special needs.
Maintain a knowledge base of scientific and mathematical principles underlying EKG technology.
Perform the procedure for recording EKG.
Who You Are:
High School diploma or GED required.
Experience with Cardiac Devices is required.
Completion of an approved AMA training program or on-the-job training with documentation.
Certifications: Current BLS/CPR training.
Epic experience, is a plus!
