Both the Food Services and Dietary teams collaborate to ensure all dietary restrictions are maintained and to keep our patient-centered values across all areas of the medical center.

About the Job:

The Supervisor may work in any type of food location on the premises. This individual provides oversight at the direction of management to coordinate routine work activities of employees engaged in food operations or services. This individual will provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business. Assists in conducting and managing operations in the Food Service Department in compliance with all regulatory agencies and the Medical Center mission statement.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintains key control of operations and is responsible for activities to ensure opening, closing, and daily procedures are completed.
• Promote the development of the food service team.
• Responsible for orientation and training of employees.
• Assists in monitoring employee productivity and provides suggestions for increased service or productivity.
• Participates in and supports department projects to ensure quality and continual process improvement.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree related to food and nutrition or 2-4 years of previous food service supervisory experience.
• Registered Dietitian preferred. Serve Safe Certified required.
