Senior Quality Assurance Analyst.
Terms: Fulltime role.
Location: 2 days onsite in downtown Chicago (every Tuesday and Wednesday).
We need someone with good experience in ETL testing. Candidates who don't have this experience will not be considered.
No 3rd C2C party applicants are allowed at this time. We need someone currently local to the Chicagoland area.
Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to collaborate with our IT department and business units to ensure high-quality IT solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and plans to ensure quality standards are met
- Analyze and present test results, identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with offshore and nearshore QA teams to resolve testing issues
- Assist in preparing test estimates and migration planning
- Evaluate vendor software and participate in testing methodologies
- Train and mentor junior team members in quality-related areas
- Work closely with development teams to ensure quality control guidelines are met
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
- 8 years of experience in quality assurance testing, with expertise in:
- Full development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
- Test planning, execution, and estimation
- QA tools and methodologies
- SQL and PL/SQL
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work with competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Informatica, PL/SQL, and report testing
- Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of test automation concepts
