About the Job:
The Supervisor of Financial Planning assists the Director of Financial Planning with system-wide annual budget process for both Elliot Health System (EHS) and SolutionHealth (SH) including budget development, monthly spreads, ongoing variance analysis and training. The Supervisor will also assist the Director with financial forecasting, analysis, and preparation of support for bond documents, community benefits reports and tax returns.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in the preparation of comprehensive operating and capital budgets for the individual and consolidated entities of Elliot Health System (EHS) and SolutionHealth (SH)
- Ensure the budget platform is maintained including updates, testing and data validation
- Maintain the necessary knowledge and skill of the budget platform to be a resource for the organizations and other users
- Create materials and provide training for budget platform users
- Utilize the enterprise reporting platform and the budget platform to assist the Director in financial forecasting and analysis
- Obtain and coordinate department leader’s explanations relating to monthly variations in actual performance vs. budget as identified
- Supervise Senior Analyst’s work and assist the Director in the development of the employee

Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, Required

A minimum of 5 years of related Healthcare experience, Required
- 2 years of which, in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of financial planning and budgeting, Required
- Excellent organizational skills
