PET / CT Technologist - Per Diem

About the Job :
The Positron Emission Tomography / Computed Tomography (PET / CT) Technologist performs all aspects of Nuclear Medicine and PET / CT Imaging Studies while providing compassion and comfort to all patients.
What You'll Do :
- Reviews patient medical information and reconciles physician requests with exams ordered.
- Completes essential documentation such as consents and questionnaires prior to beginning patients exam.
- Prepares and administers isotopes related to the PET / CT and Nuclear Medicine studies according to department protocols.
- Monitors "Hot Lab" and follows State of New Hampshire guidelines for safe use of radioactive material.
- Follows State Guidelines for receiving and disposal of radioactive materials.
- Demonstrates proficiency with computer systems such as RIS, PACS and scheduling applications.
- Performs all aspects of PET / CT and Nuclear Medicine examinations including oncologic, orthopedic, cardiac, abdominal, lung and all other scans utilizing radiopharmaceutical imaging and / or therapy.
