Position: Maintenance Manager - Buffalo NY
Reports to: Plant Manager
Description: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining maintenance procedures and processes, and directing the activities in the maintenance and reliability department in a cost-effective manner. The Maintenance Manager will also be responsible for managing shutdowns and capital projects.
To fulfill these responsibilities, the Maintenance Manager is empowered to manage work priority, engage the proper resources to develop and implement equipment, process, and administrative standards, identify training opportunities throughout the plant, and recommend asset selection criteria and installation standards. The Maintenance Manager will monitor department performance relative to safety, environment, reliability, quality, efficiency, and cost control to continually improve performance.

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent safety standards

- Strong background with Maintenance Management Best Practices such as TPM/TPR
- BS in Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred but not required for qualified candidates
- Chemical manufacturing facility experience

- Experience developing training program for Operators, Maintenance, and Engineers as it relates to process safety and equipment reliability
- Experience in HAZOPs and LOPA
- Experience in Six Sigma, 5S, FMECA and RCMS
Position Details
Reports To: Plant Manager
Travel Requirements: Occasional overnight for training purposes
Shift: Scheduled hours are M-F 7am – 4:00 pm, also includes on call for Operations and a supervisory weekend duty rotation.
Salary: Dependent on experience; $75,000 - $90,000
