You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to address their unique needs and concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Demonstrate expertise in clinical decision-making and critical thinking to prioritize patient care needs.
- Care for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
