Position Overview STI-TEC is seeking Joint Center for Electromagnetic Readiness (JCER) Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support to accomplish Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) readiness evaluations of service deployment certification events, or prerequisite training considered critical and mandatory prior to deployment to support a Combatant Command (CCMD). Support includes research on electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) issues, obtain relevant DOD documents, conduct studies and report the results thereof, analyze options, and develop specified documentation to assist with effectively and efficiently carrying out the JCER mission. Assist with applying scientific methods and techniques, evaluation planning, coordinating specifications related to computer software use cases and software demonstrations, operations research and systems analysis, program management expertise, and an understanding of multi-Service and Joint doctrine and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) to address the JCER focus areas.
Essential Job Function Develop and employ antenna system collection plans for JCER evaluations of EMSO events
Minimum Qualifications
- Creation and execution of detailed test plans for antenna performance evaluations;
- Possess experience in C , MATLAB, Python, or other highly technical languages;
- Applied electromagnetics and / or aircraft survivability; or comprehensive understanding of EM energy transmission through space and within material;
- Studying new system level features and working with engineers to create comprehensive test strategies to evaluate them;
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, related engineering or physics discipline from an ABET accredited program; and
- At least five (5) years of demonstrated relevant experience.
- United States citizen
- TS security clearance with eligibility for SCI, SAP, and SAR accesses. An Interim TS may be acceptable with approval from the JCER Director.
Desired Qualifications
Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
