Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and eager Intern to work with the Procurement Team as an Electrical Procurement Intern. As an intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience and exposure to the day-to-day operations. The Electrical Procurement Intern will assist the procurement team in sourcing and acquiring electrical components, materials, and services for various projects. This role offers hands-on experience in the procurement process, supplier management, and project coordination within the electrical engineering sector.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

• Support the identification and evaluation of suppliers for electrical materials and components.

• Assist in the preparation, issuance, and management of purchase orders.

• Collaborate with electrical engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.

• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts and purchase orders.

• Participate in supplier negotiations and contract discussions under supervision.

• Analyze supplier performance, pricing, and delivery timelines.

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and industry trends.

• Assist in inventory management and tracking of electrical materials.

• Prepare reports and presentations related to procurement activities.

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
