Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing various civil engineering projects, with a focus on infrastructure and environmental systems. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, project management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Duties

• Design and implement wastewater treatment systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Conduct construction inspections to monitor project progress and adherence to specifications.
• Develop system designs for various civil engineering projects, including pipelines and drainage systems.
• Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for mapping and analyzing project sites.
• Collaborate with construction management teams to oversee project execution from inception to completion.
• Apply Hydrologic Engineering Center (HEC) methodologies in project design and analysis.
• Integrate mechanical engineering principles where applicable to enhance project outcomes.
• Utilize Storm Water Management Model (SWMM) for effective stormwater management solutions.
• Engage in building projects that require innovative engineering solutions while ensuring safety and sustainability.

Skills

• Proficiency in wastewater treatment processes and technologies.
• Strong knowledge of construction inspection techniques and standards.
• Experience in system design related to civil engineering projects.
• Familiarity with GIS applications for civil engineering purposes.
• Ability to build effective working relationships within multidisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of HEC methodologies for hydrological analysis.
• Background in mechanical engineering principles as they relate to civil projects is advantageous.
• Knowledge of SWMM for stormwater management practices is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for successful project execution.
• The candidate must have at least 2 years of utility experience

Pay: $80,556.00 - $86,981.00 per year
