What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager - Substation and Transmission position at Solvenow Inc.?
Responsibilities :
- Promote and ensure adherence to safety protocols across all project phases fostering a strong safety culture within the team and on project sites.
- Review RFPs and prepare detailed competitive proposals for servicebased projects ensuring alignment with client specifications and organizational capabilities.
- Lead conceptual design and procurement phases for substation projects including highvoltage (HV) mediumvoltage (MV) lowvoltage (LV) underground and overhead transmission lines.
- Manage the entire project lifecycle including scheduling budgeting scope definition and change management to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Act as the primary interface between clients external stakeholders and internal teams ensuring effective communication alignment of expectations and resolution of issues.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the project execution process ensuring compliance with industry standards regulations and client requirements.
- Lead and coordinate project teams providing mentorship and fostering collaboration to achieve project goals.
- Track and report project progress regularly identifying and addressing deviations from planned timelines budgets or scope.
- Participate in fieldwork and onsite inspections ensuring project execution aligns with design plans and addressing any onsite challenges promptly.
- Handle a diverse range of projects within the electric grid sector including innovative and proven technologies with potential involvement in distribution networks private systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
This role requires approximately 25% travel to project sites. When not traveling the position follows a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and two days remote.

This hybrid role involves a mix of office work and onsite activities with exposure to typical office and construction environments including extreme weather high noise levels and safety hazards.
