The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As senior technical leader of the Corporate R&D Biological Testing team, you will oversee research needs for multiple businesses to conduct research aimed as supporting product research, development and change management.

As the technical lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Partner and communicate with business groups, product stewardship, and functional teams to support R&D projects

• Improve, recommend, and expand research biological testing capabilities

• Provide technical leadership to technical staff

• Maintain collaboration across the organization, source industry trends and intelligence, raise awareness to and educate stakeholders

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or higher in a STEM-related field from (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and 12 years of experience in healthcare R&D

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• 5 years of industry experience with ISO13485 or GLP

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• PhD Degree in a STEM-related field from (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution with 8 or more years of experience in healthcare R&D

• Preclinical and molecular biology experience including Sanger sequencing

• 5 years of experience working in a BSL-2 Lab

• Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Work location:

• Hybrid, 3 days a week on site

Travel: May include up to 15% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: Authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $160,284 - $195,903, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
