As an EHS Supervisor at Solventum, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and compliant operation of our facilities. You will lead by example, fostering a culture of safety excellence and driving continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS plans, policies, and procedures that align with Solventum's overall business objectives.
- Provide EHS training and education to employees, contractors, and visitors, ensuring they understand and follow established safety protocols.
- Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with site and Solventum EHS leadership teams to develop and implement site-specific EHS strategies.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including employees, contractors, and regulatory agencies, regarding EHS-related issues and concerns.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Health and/or Safety engineering and/or Science discipline, with 8 years of EHS related manufacturing experience.
- OR High school diploma/GED and 12 years in Environmental Health and/or Safety engineering and/or Science in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- Proven experience in comprehensive EHS management systems, state, and federal regulations compliance and reporting, including EPA, OSHA, CTDEEP, etc.
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, good interpersonal, communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Analytical, leadership, project planning, program development, and deployment skills.
- Experience working on cross-functional teams and applicable EHS certification(s).
