We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our Brookings SD team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to tap into your curiosity and make a meaningful impact in our mission to improve healthcare outcomes.
The successful candidate will have the ability to facilitate the installation, maintenance, repair, replacement, modification, troubleshooting, and optimization of existing and new manufacturing equipment. They will also possess the skills to maintain, repair, replace, and troubleshoot electronic equipment, circuit boards, components, variable frequency drives, switches, AC/DC motors, intrinsic safety, and medium voltage power and distribution systems.
Applicants must meet the following requirements: a High School Diploma/GED (completed prior to start), or be in the last six (6) months of pursuing a technical degree in an Electrical Maintenance field. A minimum three (3) years of electrical, controls, vision or automation experience is necessary. Additional qualifications that could enhance job prospects include an Associate's degree or higher in an Electrical Maintenance field, experience in controls and automation systems design, effective 'Hands On' techniques, Apprentice/Journeyman license, and the ability to analyze, problem solve and implement solutions.
