We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Solventum in Stafford Springs, CT.
About the Job:
This is an exciting opportunity to work on maintaining all plant systems, installing, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repair of all plant systems, including processing, packing, warehouse and facility operations.
- Installation, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshooting and repair of gear boxes, transmissions, pulley systems, etc.
- Disassembly and reassembly of machinery and various other mechanical drives.
- Management of work orders and inventory via MRP system.
- Participation in preventative maintenance, continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
- Observance of plant safety rules and regulations.
- Maintenance of material handling equipment.
- Completion of other tasks assigned by supervision and leadership.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher.
- One (1) year experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work 3rd Shift.
