What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Technician III position at Solvere Technical Group?
Solvere is seeking a full-time position to provide maintenance and modernization support to Mid Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must demonstrate the following requirements:
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of Naval equipment, modernization, and operations; other commands, i.e., FLEET, TYCOMs, NAVSEA, and ISEAs; and JFMM and NMP-MOM requirements and milestones.
- Demonstrate familiarity with NAVSEA, Planning Yard, and OEM drawings.
- Demonstrate ability to interpret detailed specifications, alteration requirements, and other government forms supplying integral data for shipboard modernization.
- Must have recent and current general experience within three (3) years unless designated below.
- Ability to utilize computers including the Microsoft Office Suite for reviewing and compiling information for data entry and transferring files and electronic/digital scans.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally, especially in public.
- Demonstrate an understanding of activity missions, chain of command structure, organizational objectives, and administrative policies.
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining, organizing, tracking the status, and prioritization of engineering documents (both physical and electronic records).
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have High School Diploma.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a Secret Clearance to be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
