Solvere Technical Group is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to provide research and support services, and review of specifications, documentations, and document changes. Meet with Subject
Matter Experts (SME’s) to ensure topics are properly addressed and adjudicated during all phased of specification development, including copy and edit feedback from industry and team members.
Prepare, review and revise and maintain technical documents relating to shipboard and marine use, including CDRL, specification, and SOW development and management. Will also analyze, interpret
and cross-check information to ensure accuracy. The Senior Technical Writer will develop, publish, amend, and maintain technical publications used to support the Coast Guard.
Skills and Abilities :
- Possess expert knowledge of industry standard desktop publishing and word processing software. (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat)
- Ability to independently prepare, review, and revise and maintain publication ready technical documents.
Minimum Qualifications / Requirements :
Required Education :
BS or MS in Technical, Engineering, or Marine Degree from ABET accredited institution, related to field
of work.
