What are the responsibilities and job description for the Task Lead position at Solvere Technical Group?
Solvere Technical Group currently seeks a Task Lead to plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed of Surface Ship Maintenance initiatives. Prepare and deliver maintenance and modernization planning process briefs, presentations, and updates. You will play a significant role in the maintenance and modernization of in-service ships throughout their life cycle. This role is centered on a complete, well-engineered, and continuously improving Class Maintenance Plan (CMP) that facilitates the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, streamlines maintenance processing, develops maintenance strategies, and directly supports surface ship Expected Service Life (ESL) goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years experience in DoD/Navy program management, Industry or Government technical management, or Industry or Government business management.
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated experience with DoD/Navy Program Management.
- Minimum of 15 years experience with Surface, Submarine, or Aircraft Carrier maintenance and modernization planning and execution.
- Strong leadership qualities; strong interpersonal skills; strong communication skills; high level of professionalism; strong computer literacy skills; ability to work effectively with others.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in related field, or 10 of the minimum 15 years of experience was gained from in-depth experience and specialized knowledge in the related field.
Security:
- Must have a Secret Clearance or higher.
- Must pass a standard background check.
Work Location:
- Will work in San Diego, California.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
