This contract role as Remote Accounting Assistant, under supervision , is responsible for working on the phone all day in a call center environment to assist internal and external customers by responding to telephone inquiries in a prompt, accurate and objective manner. Duties include : conducting research; spends approximately 95% of the scheduled time on the phone according to business need.
Pay rate : $17-$20 per hour
Remote in IL, NM, OK, MT or TX
Responsibilities :
- Respond to general account billing inquiries for internal and external customers.
- Research the internal resources to gather and verify other group information (effective date, active status, premiums, etc.)
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations involving basic numeric comparison.
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc.
