We are seeking a dedicated Additive Manufacturing Technician to operate and maintain advanced industrial 3D printing equipment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on individual who enjoys tinkering and has a knack for problem-solving in a dynamic team environment. This role involves day-to-day operations with large industrial robotics, overseeing the additive manufacturing process, maintaining equipment, and supporting our engineering team through documentation and basic diagnostics. With a focus on large-format 3D printing, the technician will be responsible for the upkeep of consumable items and ensuring the smooth execution of our additive manufacturing projects. This role will be primarily on second shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be a US Person according to FAR22 CFR 120.15 -US Person
- Operate large-scale industrial 3D printing equipment with precision and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct basic diagnostic tests and provide technical support to the engineering team.
- Collaborate with team members to execute projects and achieve collective goals.
- Follow detailed instructions and provide feedback to enhance processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation for operations and machine maintenance.
- Utilize manual and power tools to support equipment troubleshooting and repair.
- Apply technical, mechanical, or material experience to improve system operations.
- Engage in metal additive manufacturing processes with an emphasis on quality.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to both give and receive direction.
- Relevant technical experience, preferably in a manufacturing or mechanical field.
- Familiarity with metal additive manufacturing and machine operation.
- Capability to troubleshoot and perform maintenance on complex machinery.
- Previous experience with welding is highly advantageous.
- A meticulous eye for detail and a results-driven approach to tasks.
- Flexibility to adapt to various shifts and schedules.
