We are seeking a full-time Compliance Coordinator who is passionate about general compliance, has expertise in several key compliance areas, is eager to learn, and is ready to take on new challenges. This role focuses on Export Control, Information Technology (IT), and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Compliance along with providing support to HR and EH&S compliance areas, requiring a basic understanding of these areas with a willingness to train and grow. The ideal candidate will have a proactive, go-getter attitude, strong work ethic, the flexibility to assist various team members at all levels of the organization, and the ability to understand external requirements and strategically implement them to Solvus and its business areas. Key responsibilities include leading risk & compliance analysis, creating and leading the required implementation action plans, and maintaining ongoing compliance initiatives. Required Attributes & Skills
- Must be a US Person according to FAR22 CFR 120.15 -US Person
- Basic understanding of IT systems and compliance regulations (e.g., NIST, CMMC).
- Open to training and continuous learning in IT, compliance, and export control.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and driven to take on challenges.
- Strong work ethic with a dedication to completing tasks efficiently.
- Ability to adapt to various roles and assist different team members as needed.
- Aptitude for identifying and prioritizing issues.
- Commitment to maintaining and supporting ongoing compliance initiatives.
- Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal.
- Meticulous and thorough in handling compliance-related tasks.
- Strong ability to work well with others and build positive relationships within the team.
Advantageous Attributes & Skills
- Familiarity with export control regulations and requirements (e.g., ITAR, EAR).
- Previous experience in a compliance-related position.
- Advanced skills in IT frameworks and systems.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience in managing projects and coordinating with multiple stakeholders (internal and external).
- Relevant certifications in IT, compliance, or export control.
- Ability to quickly adjust to new tasks and changing priorities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality of work.
- Experience working in HR-related regulations and compliance
- Experience working in EH&S-related regulations and compliance (e.g., OSHA, EPA, NFPA)
