Position Description:
The quality control sampling technician is a vital member of the quality and overall production team. The quality control sampling technician is responsible for ensuring that all raw materials are properly received, sampled, and dispositioned appropriately. These tasks are accomplished by document reviews,
Essential responsibilities:
• Monitors quality of in-process and finished goods according to product specifications
• Verifies compliance with standard operating procedures
• Identifies raw material condition prior to sampling
• Maintains quality assurance operations by following policies and procedures, reporting any deviation from such
• Troubleshoots in-process discrepancies to promote accurate and timely product delivery for superior customer satisfaction
• Documents quality control activities in accordance with current good manufacturing practices (cGMP)
• Resolves quality-related issues
• Maintains order and cleanliness in the QC sampling area
Additional Responsibilities:
• Verifies safety rules are being followed
• Performs any other duties as directed or needed
Education Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent required – Associates Degree preferred
Competencies/skill Qualifications:
• Must read, write, and speak English fluently, bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Motivated and a self-starter
• Detail oriented
• Effective communication skills
• Must be flexible with working hours
• English proficiency required
Physical Requirements:
