About Us : We are a fast-growing, entrepreneurial Elder Law firm on a mission to provide exceptional legal services to our clients, focusing in Medicaid planning, nursing home Medicaid, and home care Medicaid. Known for our dedication, perseverance, and unmatched expertise, we have built a reputation as the go-to firm for challenging cases – especially when it comes to navigating and outsmarting Managed Long-Term Care plans. When other attorneys face complex Medicaid cases, they trust us to handle them with the care and attention their clients deserve.
As we continue to grow aggressively, we’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Attorney to lead our team. This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of a substantial caseload and lead our team in delivering top-notch legal services to clients in need.
What We’re Looking For :
We need an expert in Medicaid planning, nursing home Medicaid, and home care Medicaid. You’ve worked through the intricacies of Medicaid law, from pre-DRA strategies to post-DRA planning techniques, and are well-versed in the many changes that have affected home care services. You know how to navigate the shifting landscape of state law and thrive in situations where most would back down.
If you enjoy guardianship work, we can take on guardianship cases.
Most importantly, you have a growth mindset and are eager to contribute to the expansion of a firm that’s on an upward trajectory. You’re excited about the challenge of scaling our operations, streamlining processes, and building a thriving business with a collaborative, motivated team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage a diverse and high-volume caseload, focusing on Medicaid planning, nursing home Medicaid, and home care Medicaid cases.
- Directly collaborate with the owner to shape the direction of cases and ensure all legal strategies are sound.
- Provide expert legal counsel and guidance to clients on Medicaid eligibility, planning, and application processes.
- Delegate tasks effectively, mentor paralegal staff, and oversee the development of team members.
- Be responsible for home care cases, advocating fiercely for our clients' best interests.
- Stay up to date with ongoing changes in Medicaid law and adapt strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues and foster a positive, team-driven work environment.
