Responsibilities

- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring early intervention strategies are utilized effectively.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies.
- Collaborate with other educators to design curriculum that meets the needs of all students, including those requiring special education services.
- Teach physical education classes that promote health, fitness, and teamwork among students.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student performance and welfare.
Experience
- Proven experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with child welfare practices and the ability to create a safe learning environment.
- Experience in curriculum development is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and early intervention strategies is essential.
- A background in teaching physical education is a plus.
- A degree in Education or a related field is required; additional certifications in special education or literacy education are advantageous.
