Daily Duties
- Daily implementation of weekly lesson plans created by you
- Helping children develop positive self-images and experience success
- Encouraging the exploration of interests and developmental social skills
- Developing schedules and routines ensuring classroom structure.
- Updating families daily face to face, through email, and our Parent Communication App.
- Identifying behavioral problems and developing appropriate strategies to address them.
- Build positive relationships in our surrounding communities through outside events!
- Be a positive and role model for your students.
- Developing age-appropriate socialization skills in children.
- Work extensively with all teachers to ensure consistency and stability throughout the program.
- Using various learning methods when applying your daily curriculum.
Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Possess an Associates Degree or Bachelors degree. We may accept a degree in a related field with at least 12 hours in child development or early childhood education. (Preferred)
- At least one year of experience working in a licensed child care facility. (Preferred)
- Proficiency with classroom technology (IPads, laptops, etc.)
- Ability to sit, stoop, bend to low level positions that best allow interactions with the students.
- Current CPR and First Aid training, or obtain it within the first 30 days of employment.
- Pass pre-employment screening and fingerprint background check
