Physical Education Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Education Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards for physical education.
- Teach various physical activities, including sports, fitness exercises, and health education.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect among students.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular activities, such as sports teams or fitness clubs.
- Collaborate with other educators to integrate physical education into the broader curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student development and performance.
Experience
- A bachelor's degree in physical education
- Valid FLDOE teaching certificate
- Previous experience teaching physical education or coaching is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of various sports, fitness techniques, and health education principles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
- A passion for promoting health and wellness within the school community.
