Kids Summer Learning Center Teacher

Job Overview
The Kids Summer Learning Center is now seeking creative individuals to teach one or more weeks in the very successful Somerset Kids Summer Learning Center.Classes will start on Monday June 23 and continue each week through August 8th. Classes are two hours each morning. This is an opportunity for you to use your creative talent. To engage your students in a vibrant learning environment, you can create your own subject matter with your own curriculum to see real educational progress in a short time. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
• Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
• Engage children in fun, hands-on learning experiences that promote educational growth.
• Maintain a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where students feel encouraged to participate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of child welfare, childhood development, and behavior management techniques.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
