Somerset Hardwood Flooring is a fully integrated, leading manufacturer of hardwood flooring in the United States. Headquartered in Somerset, Kentucky, with a second manufacturing facility in Crossville, Tennessee.
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the VP of Finance, the Controller will plan and direct the accounting operations of the company.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Supervise daily functions of the finance department.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Overseeing & preparing monthly financial reports & reconciliations.
· Analyzing financial data.
· Monitoring internal controls.
· Participating in budgeting processes.
· Managing general ledger transactions.
· Streamlining accounting functions and operations.
· Assist in evaluating and managing risk.
· Coordinating audit processes.
· Supervise daily functions of the Finance Department
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Background in standard costing preferred.
· Good communication skills.
· Strong leadership qualities.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
· Auditing experience.
· Proficiency in Excel & ERP systems.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required, MBA preferred.
· At least 5 years in finance management

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
