Experienced Picture Framer – Full-Time

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Art Framer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for art and craftsmanship, with the ability to create beautiful, high-quality frames that enhance the presentation of artwork. This role requires a blend of artistic vision and technical skills, ensuring that each piece is framed with precision and care.

Duties

• Measure and cut materials accurately to create custom frames for various types of artwork.
• Assemble frames using appropriate techniques and tools, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
• Install fixtures and hardware as needed for hanging or displaying framed pieces.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their framing needs and provide expert recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times.
• Perform minor repairs or modifications on existing frames as required.
• Utilize skills in remodeling, drywall, and construction estimating when necessary for framing projects.

Skills

• Proficiency in fixture installation and basic maintenance person tasks related to framing.
• Experience in drywall work, carpentry, and blueprint reading is highly desirable.
• Ability to fabricate custom framing solutions tailored to individual client specifications.
• Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for design aesthetics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with caulking techniques and other finishing touches that enhance frame quality.
