Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional hospitality and a strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and food service. As a Bartender, you will create memorable experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment, whether in a restaurant, nightclub, or banquet setting.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Operate the Aloha POS system for processing orders and payments accurately.
- Manage cash register transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests seated at the bar.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal guidelines regarding alcohol service.
- Assist in planning and executing special events or banquets as needed.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety throughout the bar area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred.
- Familiarity with Toast or similar point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
- Strong basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of various cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits is essential.
- Experience working in nightclubs or banquet settings is a plus but not required.
- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with state regulations.
