The Town of Somerset is accepting applications for the position of Wastewater Operator , a position responsible for assisting in the proper treatment operation of the Town’s Water Pollution Control Facility. Applicants must have MA Grade 4, 5, 6 or 7 Licensure. This position is 40 hours per week with rotating weekend overtime shifts. The pay scale and stipends for specialty licenses are as follows : Grade 4 $25.90 / hr. plus $45.00 weekly stipend, Grade 5 $26.53 / hr. plus $90.00 weekly stipend, Grade 6 $27.16 / hr. plus $100.00 weekly stipend, Grade 7 $27.79 / hr. plus $200.00 weekly stipend. As a condition of employment, the employee must pass a pre-employment physical examination and drug testing.
