Job Summary:
The duties and responsibilities of an Event Server or Bartender are generally to provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire event process to ensure the highest standard of customer satisfaction.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This Position reports directly to the Resort Manager and/or the ‘Manager on Duty’ on event days.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Serves patrons with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner.
- Provides information to help with food and beverage selections.
- Presents ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude.
- Prepares room for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils.
- Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
- Serves orders by picking up and delivering patrons’ choices from the bar and kitchen and delivering accompaniments and condiments from service bars.
- Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs and observing dining process.
- Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
- Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma
- 3-5 years of experience serving
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking and talking
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at once
Work requires the physical capacity to work for extended periods of time with exposure to diverse environmental situations and adverse weather conditions.
Work Schedule:
This is an On-Call Position and works a wide range of hours including but not limited to evenings, holidays, and weekends. The schedule worked will change with the need for events as they are hosted.
