Job Summary : The Food and Beverage Attendant provides high-quality service to members and guests at our exclusive poolside snack bar. This role involves preparing and serving food items, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering excellent customer service to ensure a delightful experience for all. Duties / Responsibilities : Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders with accuracy. Prepare and serve menu items such as sandwiches, salads, and snacks following established recipes. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and snack bar areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring food levels. Handle POS transactions and manage payments efficiently. Respond to guest inquiries and accommodate special requests when possible. Collaborate with team members to provide seamless service during busy hours. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Experience in food preparation and customer service preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure. Education and Experience : Must be at least 16 years old. CPR / AED certification required (can be obtained upon hire). Prior food service experience preferred. Physical Requirements : Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds. Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat. Work Schedule : This seasonal position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Hours vary based on seasonal demands, with longer shifts during summer peak periods and shorter shifts as the season winds down .
