Somersett is a 2,391-acre master-planned golf community located in Northwest Reno and surrounded by the beautiful Sierra Nevada range to the west and south, and Peavine Peak to the north. The Club at Town Center, 24,000-square-foot, 9-million-dollar facility, is the showpiece of the Somersett resident amenity program, which also includes the Canyon Nine par-3 golf course and 27 miles of hiking and biking trails. The Resort-style facility offers residents endless activities to enjoy, led by a team of dedicated professionals in hospitality, entertainment, and recreation. Job Summary :

The Front Desk Concierge serves as the first point of contact for residents and guests, providing superior customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations at the Club. This role involves assisting with check-ins, registrations, and inquiries while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Greet residents and guests warmly, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Check residents and guests into the system, charging applicable fees for facility usage or programs.
  • Assist with program registrations, reservations, and payment processes.
  • Provide information and guidance to new residents regarding paperwork and access to facilities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and common areas.
  • Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and take messages for appropriate staff members.
  • Sell merchandise and ensure supplies are stocked for guests.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.
  • Complete checklists to ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using office equipment and basic software tools.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality for residents and staff.
  • Education and Experience :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • CPR / AED certification required (can be obtained upon hire).
  • An associate's degree is highly preferred.
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Mobility to move around the property and assist with tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Work Schedule :

    This part-time position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Hours vary based on seasonal demands, with longer shifts during summer peak periods and shorter shifts as the season winds down.
