Job Goal: The Summer Robotics Program provides students who are rising into 5th through 9th grades with opportunities to explore beginner, intermediate, and advanced topics in robotics while having fun. These experiences are designed to prepare students for school courses and Out-of-School Time opportunities during the upcoming school year.
High School Robotics Youth Mentors are an essential part of the Summer Robotics Team. Youth Mentors co-design and implement programming and activities, assist the adult staff in administrative tasks, and develop skills to facilitate topics in robotics with younger students.
Responsibilities
In addition to providing instructional support, Robotics Youth Mentors will:
Seasonal/Yearly Employment
Program Schedule - Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 12:30pm
Start Date: July 28, 2025
End Date: August 1, 2025
Salary: $17.72 per hour
Mandatory Orientation days on May 28 virtual meeting and July 1 in person (subject to change).
Position Reports to: The Innovation Project Specialist

- Provide feedback to students on projects and robotics/design work
- Collaborate daily with lead and assistant adult staff to plan activities and lessons
- Lead activities and teach robotics concepts to small and large groups of students
