Part-Time Morning ELL Teacher Position

Job Overview

SCALE is seeking a dedicated and passionate part-time ELL Teacher to develop and deliver engaging, learner-centered lessons for adult immigrant students with Low-Intermediate levels of English proficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement dynamic lesson plans tailored to the needs of adult learners.
• Evaluate student progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in monthly collaborative meetings with fellow educators to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.

Schedule

• Part-Time: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• 9 teaching hours alongside 2 preparation hours each week.
• Monthly meetings held from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.
  
  

Compensation

• Salary will be in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement, ensuring a structured compensation framework.
