Requirements:
- Appropriate DESE Licensure
One or more of the following specialized trainings will be required:
- Specialized Intensive Program medically fragile/severe special needs (S.K.I.P.)
- Life Skills; self-contained; certified Special Needs. to work in conjunction with the Somerville Recreation Department (students with severe cognitive disabilities)-CPI trained. (1-7), (8-Transition)
- K-6 self-contained, social/emotional/therapeutic - CPI trained
- Autism - CPI trained
- Special Education Kindergarten
- Pre-school - CPI trained
- Academic Special Educators to Teacher Math, Writing and Reading
Experience working with one or more of the following populations:
- Students with ASD
- Students with multiple disabilities
- Students with emotional impairments
- Students with cognitive impairments
- Students with multiple disabilities
Terms of Employment - Self-Contained Programs 4 week Program
Seasonal/Yearly Employment
July 7th, 2025– August 1, 2025
Hourly Rate: $27 per hour worked
Monday through Friday, 5 days per week
7:45am-1:30pm
Mandatory Orientation and Professional Development Days: TBD
Terms of Employment – Self- Contained Programs 5 week Program
Seasonal/Yearly Employment
July 7th, 2025– August 8, 2025
