General Description : The Bus Monitor ensures the safety of children as they are transported from the Neighborhood (proximity) School to the schools where the English Language Learner Programs are located. Bus Monitors are assigned at the bus stop or on the bus and work a morning and an afternoon shift. Hours of work and schedule are determined on an annual basis based on program enrollment and program needs.
Qualifications :
- Fluency in English and ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to maintain a safe and orderly environment
- Ability to establish good working relationship with children, parents, bus driver, and other staff
- Bilingual preferred
