Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Canine Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and training, with the ability to provide guidance and support to both pets and their owners. This role is essential in fostering a positive environment for learning and development, ensuring that all animals receive the highest standard of care while enhancing their skills.
Duties
- Develop and implement training programs for pets, focusing on manners, and socialization.
- Provide hands-on instruction to pet owners on effective training techniques and proper animal handling.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all animals.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including kennels and equipment.
- Offer exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and providing ongoing support.
- Monitor the progress of each pet in training, adjusting methods as necessary to meet individual needs.
- Monitor and manage dog interactions in a group setting, ensuring a safe, positive, and enriching environment by recognizing canine body language, facilitating appropriate play, and addressing individual needs to promote overall well-being.
Requirements
- Strong skills in customer service and communication to effectively interact with pet owners.
- Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal handling practices preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience working in a kennel or veterinary assistant role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor around animals.
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare is essential.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the needs of the business.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
