Job Description
Assist outside sales managers in growing territory sales by providing account management and support to new and existing accounts and facilitating the closing of consumer leads with retail dealers within the territory.
- Support the outside sales managers by assisting in new business opportunities and account maintenance/management.
- Understanding customer needs and provide solutions and support.
- Acquire a detailed knowledge of Somfy products and their applications to support customers and facilitate new sales opportunities.
- Update existing accounts on new product launches and encourage adoption.
- Direct sales to new and existing accounts.
- Validate consumer leads, refer to local dealers, track results.
- Become proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
program.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field or 1-3 years experience in an inside sales/customer service setting.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
-SAP (Client/Customer Relationship Management) system experience a plus.
-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with external business partners and staff at all levels.
- Positive attitude and engaging personality.
-Exceptional organizational skills, including ability to prioritize and be self-motivated.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional phone etiquette and business writing skills.
Additional Information
Typical hours are 8 am-5 pm, Monday through Friday.
