Job Description
The SAP Master Data Analyst is responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data in SAP, including product, supplier, and customer data. This role requires a proactive approach to data governance, quality assurance, and process improvement to support cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is meticulous, has strong analytical abilities, and possesses experience with SAP master data management.
- Master Data Management
Create, update, and maintain master data for products, suppliers, and customers in SAP, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems.
Perform regular data quality checks and identify discrepancies or inconsistencies in product, supplier, and customer data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Marketing, Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance) to streamline data-related processes for greater efficiency.
Generate and distribute reports on master data quality metrics and performance indicators.
Train team members and end-users on best practices for data management and SAP usage.
Document data management processes, standards, and guidelines to maintain consistency and support knowledge sharing.
