3rd Shift Plating MPO

The Plating department is where our parts go through an automated line and get dipped into various chemical & Acid baths to provide them with protection against rust & corrosion. The Plating Operator has a very fast-paced manual process of loading parts onto pegs & racks, and then off-loading the parts once the process is finished. It is a very team-based department where the operators work together to keep the line running; they will also do periodic quality-cycle checks. The operators do not come into direct contact with the chemicals, but the chemical smell and fumes are more prominent there than other areas of the plant.
