Description
Installs, repairs and maintains mechanical and electrical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment. Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment by performing the following duties. Satisfy SA’s Quality goals and objectives in completion of activities or duties (reference SA Quality Manual and Quality Policy). Performs assigned role in the Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with W010902.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Mechanically and electrically troubleshoot equipment. Repair equipment Preventative Maintenance Process waste water Recycle used coolant Fabrication of jigs, fixtures, machine parts, etc. Installation of new equipment.
Leads maintenance team members. Ensure the success of all team members by supporting and monitoring work performed. Responsibilities include ensuring the training of team members. In conjunction with the Maintenance Supervisor, will plan, assign, and direct work; addressing complaints and resolving problems. In order to set the example of demonstrating genuine interest in the preparation to the start of the shift, the Maintenance Team Leader is expected to be on site for maintenance support and to greet his/her team members. Team Leaders are expected to lead by example in adhering to all SA policies and procedures, (ex: dress code, attendance, etc) and be professional, polite, and respectful. Must have a positive attitude and a proven record as a Somic America Citizen.
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, experience and training is desired.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, blueprints and related electrical / mechanical documents. Ability to write reports and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
