What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preventative Maintenance Technician position at Somic America?
SUMMARY
Maintains PM requirements on production machines and equipment by performing the following duties. Satisfy SA’s Quality goals and objectives in completion of activities or duties (reference SA Quality Manual and Quality Policy). Performs assigned role in the Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with 32-01-01.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Maintain Fluid Levels and Lubrication on all assigned equipment.
· Complete assigned PM work orders.
· Maintain and operate process room.
· Maintain and perform 5S.
· Assist Maintenance Technicians as needed.
· Maintain and provide a safe work area and work in a safe manner.
· Submit suggestions for improvements.
ADVANCED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Training provided as necessary. Other duties may be assigned.
Works with Maintenance Technician and Facilities Manager to manage the PM program.
