JOB DESCRIPTION : Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks including filling and organizational tasks. The Receptionist / Cashier will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, ensuring office work is up to date, and handling customer transactions with payments, receipts, refunds or change.

- Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate.
- Greets and directs visitors to the company.
- Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel.
- Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website and other related information.
- Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.
- Creating accounting receipts for sales and finance departments for vehicle deposits and CODs.
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, or automatic debits.
- Issue receipts, refunds or change due to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of desk and guest waiting room.
- Must be able to present oneself is a professional manner.

Work Environment : This job operates in a professional office environment within an automotive dealership. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Business dress code.
Physical Demands : This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing and standing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
