FT Cardiac Anesthesiologist position is available to join a growing team of anesthesia professionals at Dignity Health St. Josephs Medical Center in Stockton, CA. St. Josephs is a 355 bed tertiary-care teaching hospital committed to excellence in patient care and medical education.
The Anesthesia Department currently consists of 14 Anesthesiologists including 3 Cardiac Anesthesiologists, and 25 CRNAs providing services across 20 daily anesthetizing locations at St. Josephs and the affiliated ambulatory surgical center on the campus.
The annual anesthesia case volume of ~15,000 includes ~10,000 surgical cases of which ~900 are Cardiac and Thoracic. The Department also provides services in support of ~2,500 Obstetrics cases, and ~2,000 out-of-OR cases in GI / Endo, Cath lab, and Interventional Radiology.
Base Compensation : $850,000 for 35 weeks of services includes a $25,000 Teaching Stipend for teaching Residents, plus additional overtime pay available when working additional hours. Call is remote and called in as necessary.
1st Call Weekdays : $4875 (6am-9pm)
2nd Call Weekdays : $3250 (6am-4pm)
Weekend : $3500 daily for the first 10 hours (7am-5pm)
Additional Overtime Hours : Paid at $350 / hour for hours worked beyond shift time.
