This position provides expertise in developing, implementing and managing strategies and enterprise programs to align global talent management programs with business goals. This role will activate and continuously build innovative talent management programs and processes to improve the engagement and movement of talent across Sompo.

Our Business, Your Impact, Our Opportunity
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and implement a global rotational program focused on future leader development
- Develop and implement a robust onboarding program focused on a One Sompo mindset
- Partner with Talent Management colleagues around the globe to maximize development planning
- In partnership with Talent, HRBPs and OE colleagues develop a Leadership Academy strawman
- Lead or partner on the program management of identified OE and/or talent solutions
- Develop and implement comprehensive talent management strategies aligned with Sompo’s goals/priorities
- Partner with HR Business Partners throughout the organization to understand critical business issues and, advise and identify talent requirements
- Provides regular updates (status, insights, risks, recommendations) on talent programs for CHRO
- Use data to drive, identify, and determine current and future organizational talent requirements
- Stays current with talent management best practices and new supporting technology
- Build and maintain positive working relationships within the HR/Comms/Learning & Development function and with other functions within the Company
- 15 years of progressive experience leading large scale, cross functional talent management and development projects and strategies, ideally as a program manager and a people manager in high growth financial services environments. Experience ideally includes experience as a HR Business Partner and managing a team.
- Partnering on talent management strategies for and with senior leaders
- Rotational Program process design experience, including right sizing to meet business needs
- Demonstrated ability to drive impact on business objectives
- Ability to build an overarching framework and system as well as individual processes and curriculum
- Track record of taking a pragmatic approach to solving problems, rather than an academic one
- Experience working with the C-Suite and international leaders
- Experience customizing experiences and content to meet the needs of individual business units
- Strong track record in delivering both strategic and tactical/pragmatic solutions in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Strong consulting skills (e.g., communication, influencing, facilitation and stakeholder management skills)
- Excellence in written communication, and project documentation
- Excellence in communicating and presenting, especially with executive audiences
- Experience with talent management technology, such as Learning Management Systems preferred
- Expected travel 10-20%

Salary : $175,000 - $225,000
